Living in the Final Hours: Prophecy, Perseverance, and the Power of Jesus' Name

Living in the Final Hours: Prophecy, Perseverance, and the Power of Jesus' Name

This Sunday, our church gathered with a sense of urgency and hope as Pastor Jose led us through a message of Prophecy, Perseverance, and the Power of Jesus' Name. Our worship was filled with songs declaring the victory and freedom we have in Jesus, reminding us that "your name is power, your name is healing, your name is life. Break every stronghold, shine through the shadows, burn like a fire."

Pastor Jose began by reflecting on how quickly time passes and how easy it is to lose sight of eternity. He reminded us of Jesus' words to the church in Smyrna from Revelation 2, urging them to stay faithful even when persecution comes. "This life isn't all there is," he said, encouraging us to look beyond our daily routines and view life through the lens of eternity.

The heart of the sermon focused on the prophetic timeline found in Daniel and Revelation. Pastor Jose used the story of King Nebuchadnezzar's dream in Daniel 2 to show how God has revealed the rise and fall of kingdoms throughout history. He explained how the statue in Nebuchadnezzar's dream represents a timeline of world empires, leading up to a divided and fragile era, "the toes of the statue", which he believes we are living in now. "The table is set right now," he said, pointing to current world events and the rapid increase in knowledge as signs that align with biblical prophecy (Daniel 12:4).

He also spoke about the coming challenges for believers, referencing Revelation 6 and 13, where the Bible warns of a time when allegiance to Christ will be costly. Pastor Jose was clear: "There is coming a time according to scripture where the antichrist is going to come out, deceive the nations. Everyone's going to rally around this dude and then he's going to create war. People are going to die. You're going to bow down to kiss the ring and worship him... or you're going to lose your head is what scripture says." He urged us not to be spiritually asleep but to be vigilant, ready, and bold in our faith.

Throughout the service, we were reminded of the power of Jesus' name to break strongholds and bring hope, no matter how dark the world may seem. Pastor Jose encouraged us to pray and speak the name of Jesus over every area of our lives and to stand firm, knowing that God is in control of history and our future.

If you missed this important message, we invite you to watch the full service online or join us next Sunday as we continue to seek God's truth together.
